When your provider
sends you here, there's a reason.
Many Texas clients find their way here through a trusted OB, midwife, or maternal medicine provider who recognized that what they're experiencing needs more than a general referral — it needs a specialist.
Perinatal anxiety, OCD, and pregnancy loss respond best to therapists who have trained specifically for these conditions. That's the only work I do.
"If your OB or midwife referred you here, you're in the right place. They recognized something important — and so did you by following through."
— Cheryl Reeley, LCSW-S, PMH-CSpecialized, Not General
I hold advanced perinatal mental health training specifically for these conditions — this is my entire focus, not a subset of a general practice.
Insurance-Friendly in Texas
I accept BCBS and UnitedHealthcare for Texas clients, making it easier to follow through on your provider's recommendation without the cost barrier.
Virtual & Flexible
Online sessions across all of Texas — no driving to an office while navigating a newborn, a difficult pregnancy, or the exhaustion of grief.
Quick to Get Started
A free 15-minute consultation is the only first step. No long intake forms before you've even decided we're the right fit.
What I treat
for Texas clients.
All services
Perinatal Anxiety
More than "new mom nerves." When worry takes over your pregnancy or postpartum experience, specialized support makes the difference.
- Racing, relentless "what-if" thoughts
- Inability to sleep even when exhausted
- Panic attacks or physical anxiety symptoms
- Constant fear something is wrong with baby
Perinatal OCD & Intrusive Thoughts
Scary, unwanted thoughts don't make you a bad mother. If they feel impossible to shake, it has a name — and it's very treatable.
- Disturbing intrusive thoughts about your baby
- Mental rituals and compulsive checking
- Avoiding being alone with your newborn
- Shame and secrecy around your thoughts
Pregnancy Loss & Grief
Miscarriage, TFMR, stillbirth, or a life-limiting diagnosis — your grief deserves more than platitudes. You deserve to be fully seen.
- Miscarriage at any stage
- Termination for medical reasons (TFMR)
- Stillbirth & fetal demise
- Carrying with a terminal diagnosis
Trained for exactly this.
I built my practice around perinatal mental health because women navigating anxiety, OCD, and pregnancy loss deserve a specialist — not a generalist with a postpartum module.
Transparent
Texas pricing.
For Texas clients, I accept BCBS and UnitedHealthcare — making specialized perinatal care accessible without the out-of-pocket barrier. Self-pay is also warmly welcomed.
Self-pay clients often choose this path for the flexibility and privacy it provides — no insurance-driven limits on session length or treatment approach.
Virtual therapy for women across Texas.
Online sessions mean no commute, no childcare juggling, no driving across town. We see clients in every corner of Texas.
Questions from Texas clients.
Yes — for Texas clients, I accept BCBS (Blue Cross Blue Shield) and UnitedHealthcare. Self-pay is also welcome. If you have a different insurance plan, I provide a superbill so you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse 50–80% of therapy costs — call your insurer to check your out-of-network mental health benefits before your first session.
The next step is a free 15-minute phone consultation — just click "Book Free Consultation" above or call/text (512) 641-9528. We'll briefly talk about what you're experiencing and make sure we're a good fit before scheduling your first full session. No long forms, no pressure, no commitment required.
Not at all. All sessions are virtual and conducted via a HIPAA-compliant video platform. I see clients across all of Texas — Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, and everywhere in between. As long as you're physically located in Texas during your sessions, we're good to go.
My approach blends evidence-based tools — like ERP for OCD, CBT for anxiety, and grief-specific modalities — with a relationship-first style. Sessions are 50 or 75 minutes, conducted via HIPAA-compliant video. Most clients start weekly, then adjust frequency as they make progress. I'll never push a rigid protocol — your treatment is built around your specific experience and goals.
If you're asking the question, it's worth a conversation. Perinatal anxiety exists on a spectrum, and you don't need to be in crisis to benefit from specialized support. The free 15-minute consultation is a no-pressure way to talk through what you're experiencing and see whether therapy makes sense for you right now.
